Large Solar Prominence

At the S. A. Kolobov Observatory, regular imaging of our main star is carried out.

On July 2, 2025, a very large prominence was observed on the Sun, which we also managed to photograph. This prominence can be seen in the lower left corner of the image.

The image was captured using a Lunt LS152THa B3400 solar telescope on an ASTROSIB AVM-700 mount.
